Elating admirers and his ardent fans as he commanded his eternal charm on the red carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City today, SRK graced the invite-only Met Ball in a classic menswear with the maximalist flourish designed by none other than Sabyasachi.

Setting a historical record as the first Indian male actor to be invited to the prestigious Met Gala event that hosts an annual charity that is dedicated to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, SRK is amongst a few Indian celebrities including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh who walked the Gala.

The elongated coat that touched the floor is made with Tasmanian superfine wool and with monogrammed, Japanese horn buttons single. The hand canvassed, single-breasted coat with a peak collar and wide lapels depicted SRK as a magician, the superstar and icon !

Paired with a crepe de chine silk shirt and tailored superfine wool trousers was given a finished look with a pleated satin kamarbandh. Fitting the theme of this year’s Met Gala that was inspired by the Black Dandyism movement of the 18th century, Bollywood’s Badshah made hearts flutter with his nonchalant poise.

The jewellery? According to Sabyasachi, SRK's look was layered with custom stack and complemented with The Bengal Tiger Head cane crafted in 18k gold with 30.32 carats of rubellite, over 138 carats Tourmalines, rubies, sapphires, old mine cut and brilliant cut diamonds.
Flaunting his signature step and posing in arms wide open pose, Badshah of Bollywood recreated his most iconic gesture at the Met Gala! Talk about commanding presence and looking regal. Our King of Bollywood really looked like the Bengal Tiger alluding to the regal and powerful aesthetic of the ensemble.
