The Best Dressed Looks At Cannes Film Festival 2025

If the organisers of the 78th Cannes Film Festival were hoping their new dress code would mute the fashion spectacle this year, they might need a better PR team.

As the 77th Cannes Film Festival unfurled against the backdrop of sun-drenched coastline and cinematic reverie, the red carpet became less of a runway and more of a masterclass in fashion and cinema.

With a slate of films that’s as star-studded as ever — think Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson in Die, My Love, and Tom Cruise’s swan song in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning — the Croisette summoned the world’s finest actors, auteurs, and, crucially, their stylists once again this year.

From Kristen Stewart’s quietly defiant tailoring, to Pedro Pascal's internet-shattering tank and a wave of minimal maximalism redefining eveningwear, these are the best dressed stars of Cannes 2025.
