Like every year, 2025, too, is about to march into its final stretches. It is almost as if we forget that it ever began. But your OTT browsing history would hint at all the time you have spent enjoying some of the best shows and films on streaming platforms.
At the start of the year, we were gushing over the second season of the gritty crime thriller Pataal Lok and newly released Black Warrant starring Zahan Kapoor. From there we found ourselves engulfed by stories around corruption, culture, and identity with original shows like Adolescence, Dupahiyaa, Stolen until mid-year, OTT lovers enjoyed shows and movies that set in more fantastical and mysterious realms.
And it is no surprise that since the directorial debut of Aryan Khan with the Netflix show The Ba***ds of Bollywood last month, the social media is flooded with clips from the show or just obsessing over the song Gafoor. An American survival drama starring Matthew McConaughey, The Lost Bus, is a film inspired by true-events of a school bus driver who rescues 22 children during California's deadliest wildfire in 2018. The film is directed by Paul Greengrass, who co-wrote the screenplay with Brad Ingelsby.
Monster: The Ed Gein Story

The eagerly awaited series by Ryan Murphy is coming back to Netflix with a third anthology in the Monster series. This time it is the story of the grave robber and psychopath Ed Gein played by Charlie Hunnamm. Gein is said to be the godfather of all serial killers American has seen over the years so much so that his gruesome acts inspired film plots for classic crime movies including The Silence of the Lambs, Psycho, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
