Why You Shouldn't Miss Jurassic World: Rebirth
It's the only thing everyone's talking about. Not the 'only' thing, sure, but you know what we mean!
It's the only thing everyone's been talking about. Well, not the only thing sure, but the only thing, if you know what I mean!
From Jonathan Bailey doing Jonathan Bailey things (in those infamous slutty glasses, of course) to Scarlett Johansson turning up in full movie-star style, to that cheeky red carpet kiss (and its many renditions) that drew both envy and ire from everyone, the press tour for Jurassic World: Rebirth has been all over the internet, and no one can't get enough.
And before you suggest that the chatter around a movie should be about, erm, the movie, we're here to politely ask you to not be a party pooper. It's the Jurassic World franchise - you know what the movie is going to be about. Don't pretend you care about the plot more than the entertaining shenanigans of Bailey or the fashionable fits of Johansson. Let the world live their best life, will you?

Anyway, Jurassic World: Rebirth has finally released. The movie will have its moment, now. Finally.

Without getting into details of the plot, Jurassic World: Rebirth centres around some kind of a covert mission to get the DNA of dinosaurs to create a life-saving drug, for which Johansson is hired, who in turn enlists the services of her friend (Mahershala Ali) and a dinosaur-loving palaeontologist, played by Bailey. But obviously, nothing ever goes smoothly when it involves dinosaurs, things don't go as planned for the gang and all hell breaks loose.
If all of this sounds familiar, you do have seen versions of it in the previous films from this franchise. Jurassic World movies aren't aiming for originality in terms of their plot anyway. What they're hoping to do is give you enough and more dinosaur-induced thrills and chills, and the stars who'll first do stupid things and then spend the rest of the movie running away from the consequences of their actions, all while looking both dishy and dishevelled.

As per the movie's reviews, Johansson and Bailey have both done that with aplomb. While also taking seriously everything around them, and also generating plenty of laughs along the way. What more could you want?

Then there are those dinosaurs.
You'll see the land ones, the water ones, the flying ones. And the big and small ones. Screaming and screeching their way to your heart, mind and soul, if you may. Basically, every kind of dinosaurs you could imagine or may have come across in the franchise's previous outings. Enough to give you your money's worth. And some more.
Reviewers seem to have enjoyed them too. Even if they haven't the other bits about the movie.

But then, Jurassic World: Rebirth isn't the kind of movie to get rave reviews. It's the kind of movie to take you down memory lane when you were a child completely mesmerised by the idea of dinosaurs. Also the kind of movie that introduces a whole different generation to them. It's also for those of you who simply want to enjoy stunning people go through hell, and somehow come out alive (and still breath taking). Every kind of pleasure for every kind of viewer.
How is a reviewer supposed to rate it after all?
