Wrist assured, Met Gala on Monday was a night dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fashion with the theme of the year Tailored For You, inspired by Black Dandyism. And beneath all the couture cuffs and tailored sleeves, the shiny watches did the heavy lifting to add edginess of the silhouettes.

Like a true modern-day dandy, co-chair of this year's Met Gala, A$AP Rocky who wore a custom design from his own creative agency, AWGE and opted for the ultra-thin Bvlgari Octo Finnissimo Ultra COSC, renowned fir its sleek design and record- breaking thinness at just 1.70mm.
Pharrell Williams
Another co-hair of this year's Met, Pharrell Williams, the singer-songwriter and creative director at Louis Vuitton, flaunted a Richard Mille RM74-02 Tourbillion on Gold Open Link Bracelet timepiece, an avant-garde watch featuring a skeletonised design with a baseplate and bridges crafted from 18k 5N red gold and 18k 3N yellow gold.

Henry Golding
Henry Golding make a striking appearance in a three-piece suit with a bespoke gold brocade created by Ozwald Boateng that was accompanied by a newly reissued Cartier Prive Tank a Guichets in yellow gold. (Ref. WGTA0234)
Shah Rukh Khan
King of Bollywood in Sabyasachi label paid homage to both Black dandyism and Indian by featuring in a tailored, floor-length coat drafted from fine Tamanian wool and paired with black silk shirt, tailored trousers, and a satin kamarbandh. Amongst all the gold jewellery that SRK flaunted at the Met including the big K neckpiece, he wore a Patek Philippe Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar (ref. 5304/301R).
Maluma
At Met Gala 2025, Maluma captivated the red carpet with a bold homage to Chicano zoot suit culture. To elevate his outfit, he wore a Jacob and Co. Billionaire III Emeralds watch, a one-of-a-kind timepiece that boasts 714 natural, no-heat emeralds and a white rose-cut ruby, all set in 18K white gold.

Stormzy
The British rapper Stormzy donned a custom black and white ensemble with black trousers, epitomising modern minimalism designed by Tom Ford and curated by Haider Ackermann. The American Grammy singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Jon Bastite dazzled in a Tom Ford polka dots suits complemented by a white flower corsage and the newly released Cartier Panthere de Cartier with Zebra dial in rose gold and zebra-inspired bracelet.
