On his first day as a juror at the Cannes Film Festival 2025, which kicked off this week in the South of France, Strong walked the red carpet in a rare steak pink colour Loro Piana outfit and a rusted tone watch that has a razor-thin profile, skeletonised titanium movement and open-worked dial. Definitely not your grandfather's dress watch. Retailing north of £189,000, it's the kind of watch that doesn't shout because duh, it doesn't need to.
Later in the day, when he walked the red carpet with his co-jurors, one of which is our very own Payal Kapadia, Strong swapped the playful textures for a buttery, double-breasted Loro Piana tuxedo with pure Italian precision in dusty rose silk.

Rather than approaching it like a trend, the Hollywood-star balances the softness of the colours with his sharp and confident personality.
