The first Monday of May in New York can only mean one thing on the social calendar across the globe: The Met Gala.
Technically, a fundraiser for the for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. But the evening at The Met is so much more than just charity. Each year the stairs of The Met become fashion's biggest night out with a list of marquee celebrities attend the fashion and fundraising gala.
This year, with Costume Art as the guiding theme and Fashion Is Art as the dress code, the A-listers dressed up inspired by art works and served some of the best gallery-worthy looks.
