The Esquire India x Michael Kors Diwali Party Was A Soirée Like No Other
It was an evening of conversations, cocktails, candid moments and camaraderie as Esquire India got the cool crowd together for the festival of lights
Esquire India and Michael Kors joined forces for a spectacular Diwali party held at AER Bar, Four Seasons Mumbai—one of the city’s most celebrated hotspots. The festival of lights (and incredibly ornate lehengas), deeply rooted in Indian tradition and culture, came alive as the crème de la crème of the city gathered to celebrate in style.
The evening saw the likes of Jacqueliene Fernandez, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal, Huma Qureshi, Mrunal Thakur, Anaita Shroff Adajania, Avinash Tiwari, Abhay Verma, Gurfateh Pirzada, and many more in attendance. Adding to the glamour quotient were guests sporting statement Michael Kors accessories—Vishal Jethwa arrived in a sleek Michael Kors timepiece, while Elnaaz Nourizhi paired her festive ensemble with a signature Michael Kors handbag, proving that the brand’s refined accessories remain a go-to for modern Indian celebrations.
Throughout the venue, subtle yet striking Michael Kors elements elevated the ambience: bespoke cocktail menus, gold-accented drink stirrers, and décor details infused with the brand’s signature sophistication. Our guests were glad to meet old friends and make new ones, enjoy the array of cocktails and canapés and indulge in conversations ranging from the very polite (“thank God it’s stopped raining now”) to those we’d rather not print.
One of the night’s standout acts was Jerry, a magician and mentalist whose every interaction drew gasps from the audience and the occasional “What the hell, dude.” Our DJ for the evening kept the energy high with fun, groovy beats, while percussionist JonQui added a rhythmic pulse that had every guest moving and grooving.
Most importantly, though, the night affirmed that even a midweek celebration in Mumbai can turn into an unforgettable affair when the company is good, the drinks even better, and the setting elevated by a partner like Michael Kors. Here’s to next year.
