Falguni Shane Peacock’s New Jio World Plaza Store Marks a New Shift for the Brand
Inside Falguni Shane Peacock’s new Jio World Plaza flagship

Falguni Shane Peacock’s newest store opening in Mumbai has arrived with a new swanky address!
Located at Jio World Plaza, the boutique marks an important moment for the designer duo —the first flagship to open since the brand’s recent alliance with the RPSG Group.
If you’ve followed the label over the years, you know they’ve built their universe on big couture energy. Feathers, sequins, structure — the works. This store doesn’t abandon that; it just refines it.
“This new destination represents who we are today — a brand rooted in Indian craftsmanship but shaped by a global lens,” the designers say. “Uniting luxury Indian and Westernwear in one experience feels like the most authentic evolution of our brand.”
That evolution is visible the moment you step inside. For the first time, the brand’s Indian and Western collections are presented together under one roof, reflecting how the modern luxury customer actually dresses. Rather than dividing the space by category, the layout encourages exploration — moving through the brand’s universe as a single, cohesive story.
The store also marks the beginning of a new chapter with RPSG Group. Shivika Goenka, Director – Luxury and Education at RPSG, describes the partnership as “a meeting of complementary strengths — RPSG’s ability to build and scale businesses, and FSP’s uncompromising approach to design and craftsmanship.” She adds that the Jio World Plaza opening is “the start of a thoughtful yet ambitious expansion,” positioning the brand for new markets and categories while keeping its design DNA intact.
Then there’s Gauri Khan!
She has worked with the brand for years, but this space shows a different side of that collaboration. Instead of the high-gloss drama their flagships are known for, Khan goes for a cleaner, more classic visual language — warm wood, textured surfaces, brass accents, soft edges. Her goal, she says, was to make the experience “not just retail, but discovery.”
The interiors reflect that philosophy. Warm wooden tones, layered veneers, hand-crafted textures and monogrammed brass details set the mood, while subtle touches of gold and sculptural forms add couture-level polish. Signature elements from other FSP stores appear thoughtfully — chandeliers from the Kala Ghoda boutique, travertine flooring reminiscent of their Dhan Mill address — creating continuity without repetition.
The space unfolds in moments rather than aisles. Visitors encounter archival black-and-white imagery from the brand’s Taj Mahal shoot, hand-sketched illustrations, embroidered fabric panels and custom-designed wallpaper. Bespoke details, including a seven-foot peacock urn and specially developed brass and wooden logos, reinforce the brand’s attention to craft.
