Wait, Are Zendaya And Tom Holland Already Married?

Zendaya's stylist-in-chief and red carpet oracle Law Roach may have just dropped the biggest celebrity relationship update of the year: Zendaya and Tom Holland are married.

Yes, married. Past tense.

Roach broke the news on Sunday during a red carpet interview at the Actor Awards. When asked about Zendaya and Tom Holland, he replied,“The wedding has already happened. You missed it.” The reporter asked, “Is that true?” to which Roach laughed and said, “It’s very true.”

Speculations that the two are already married shot up when the Euphoria actress was spotted wearing a golden band instead of her Jessica McCormick–designed engagement ring for a night out with Nobody Wants This producer Josh Lieberman last week. And now, it seems the rumours were well founded.

For a couple that has built a reputation on guarding their personal life, this would be their most impressive disappearing act yet. Ever since they started dating on the sets of Marvel’s Spiderman trilogy, Zendaya and Tom Holland have consistently kept milestones off social media and glossy spreads, which only makes the idea of a secret wedding more plausible.

In fact, Holland made this much clear in a 2023 interview. "Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible," he said. "We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing."

Even confirmation of their engagement came in the form of a blink-and-miss red carpet detail. Last year, Zendaya arrived at the Golden Globes red carpet wearing a cushion cut diamond ring that set the internet on overdrive. After months of speculation around ring sightings, Holland’s father, comedian Dominic Holland, described how the proposal unfolded. “Tom, as you know by now was very incredibly well prepared,” he shared. “He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear.”

Now, with Law Roach confirming that Hollywood’s sweetest couple have already exchanged their vows, it remains to be seen how (and if) the couple chooses to confirm it themselves. As for whether we'll get a public wedding? "The process hasn’t even started yet," added Roach. "Zendaya is working on so many movies. She’s now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she’s away doing that. It’s so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time."
