Rockstar Games has never needed a trailer to get the internet talking, and this time it didn't even need a full picture. A handful of zoomed-in, cryptic images have been quietly popping up on rapper and singer profiles over the last few day, each one cropped just enough to spark a thousand theories before anyone confirmed a thing. Turns out the guessing game had a very simple answer: the GTA 6 soundtrack rollout has begun, and the artists are the ones leaking it, one puzzle piece at a time. They include Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Future, Metro Boomin and Yung Lean are involved.
It started small. Travis Scott posted a close-up of a woman's heeled feet with a caption nodding to Rockstar, while Morgan Wallen dropped a caption-free shot of a pool ladder rendered in unmistakable Rockstar art style.
The internet connected the dots fast, and Future sealed the theory by sharing a sports car sporting a Leonida license plate, the fictional state GTA 6 is set in.

Metro Boomin and Yung Lean posted that exact same image on their own pages. Meanwhile, Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso put up a yacht shot that also surfaced on Fred Again's profile and an account claiming ties to PinkPantheress, fueling speculation that these artists aren't just featured separately; they might actually be collaborating on shared tracks.
More GTA 6 images are expected to keep rolling in as the day goes on.
Whether these names will just soundtrack the radio or actually walk around Leonida as characters is still up in the air. Rockstar has precedent either way.
Dr. Dre had a real character arc in GTA Online, Phil Collins showed up in Vice City Stories, and comedians like Ricky Gervais have made in-game appearances dating back to GTA 4.

Adding to the character chatter, actor Stephen Root appears to have accidentally confirmed his long-rumoured role as Brian Heder in GTA 6 this week, a reveal that seemingly slipped out rather than being planned.
All of this fits into Rockstar's steadily escalating marketing machine, which really kicked into gear this summer with pre-orders and a gameplay reveal on Netflix. With launch now roughly two months out, don't expect the teasers to slow down anytime soon.
