When Is GTA 6 Online Release Date?

GTA Online famously launched two weeks after GTA 5. Red Dead Online, on the other hand, arrived roughly a month after Red Dead Redemption 2 in beta form, only reaching its full 1.0 version six months later. The pattern from these two launches gives us something to work with, according to IGN.

Given GTA 6's single-player campaign alone is expected to outsell virtually anything else on the market. So, Rockstar has little reason to rush. A month-out launch lines up suspiciously well with the free month of GTA+ bundled into pre-orders.
