A single second can be the difference between glory and disaster. And no one but drivers at Formula One race tracks feel the weight of it more acutely. Every apex, turn, gearshift and a pit stop needs to be timed to ace the race. That's where on the razor-edge of performance Aston Martin and Breitling find common ground.

One builds cars that master speed, the other builds instruments that measure it. But both are bound by the same creed: precision, craftmanship and engineering excellence are everything.

"Nothing is left to chance," says Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman of Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team as the marque welcomes Breitling into its Formula 1 program.

“Our pursuit of a World Championship demands partners who match our ambition.” says Stroll. " Beyond a shared heritage, we are united by values that drive everything we do. The precision, craftmanship and engineering excellence we pursue at Aston Martin Aramco are lived and breathed by Breitling. We look forward to working together.”

But for fans who have been following the rising graph of the team know that the partnership between the watch brand and formula racing team goes way back in the past. In the 1960s, pilots-turned-drivers Graham Hill and Jim Clark wore Breitling Navitimers while steering Aston Martins around circuits where timing was as crucial as traction. Today, that lineage continues with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team and the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43- a watch that tracks time and dares you to keep up with it. Made from titanium, carbon fiber, racing green accents: the watch mirrors the F1 car down to its heartbeat. Every detail is engineered for performance, visible in the cockpit or on the wrist.

In fact, the parallels between the two brands go back to the earliest days of the automobile. In 1907, Leon Breitling introduced the Vitesse. French for “speed,” it was the first chronograph to measure speeds up to 250 miles or kilometers per hour. The device was so precise it was adopted by Swiss police to issue the first speeding tickets. A few years later in England, Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford were testing their hand-built vehicle in a defining race up a steep, chalky slope called Aston Hill. The car won, and the name endured. By the 1960s, both marques had become symbols of style and modern engineering.

Now, with Breitling stepping into F1 as official watch partner of Aston Martin Aramco, the alliance begins will not only be showcased through the placement of the logo on the car but through the watch Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team.

The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team is a statement of performance and heritage, crafted for those who live where precision meets passion. Limited to just 1,959 pieces, a tribute to Aston Martin’s inaugural F1 season, every element reflects a commitment to speed and style: Racing Green and lime accents echo the iconic Aston Martin Aramco livery, a first-ever titanium case lightens the timepiece without compromising strength, and a carbon-fiber dial recalls the high-tech cockpit of an F1 car. The textured leather strap, inspired by a racing harness, and luminescent hands ensure elegance and legibility from day to night.

Moreover, the open sapphire-crystal caseback reveals the watch’s engine: the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer with a 70-hour power reserve, built for absolute timing accuracy under pressure. Its matte-black rotor, developed specially for this edition, is made of tungsten coated with high-durability PVD (physical vapor deposition) and features the Aston Martin Formula One Team logo. Additional caseback engravings include “One of 1959” and the phrase “Instruments for Drivers".

From the chronograph to the car, the sky to the circuit, Breitling and Aston Martin have always shared a pursuit of speed. Now, they will come together again throughout the Grand Prix season. The Breitling logo will be visible on the Aston Martin Aramco car and team apparel when the AMR26 breaks cover on 9 February at the team’s launch. The partnership makes its debut on the circuit at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, March 6 to 8, 2026.

As this shared legacy continues to evolve, fans of Breitling, Aston Martin, and Aston Martin Aramco can look forward to exclusive releases throughout the multi-year partnership. Time and speed, reunited.
