With this slick drop, Pharrell Williams has honoured the late South Korean painter and father of the Dansaekhwa artistic movement, Park Seo-Bo. As an artist and pioneer, Seo-Bo’s large-scale, monochromatic pieces garnered international recognition for the post-war South Korean art scene. His work is characterised by distinctive repetitive lines and waves that traverse the canvas. With this in mind, Williams closely collaborated with Seo-Bo’s estate and drew inspiration from the artist’s 2022 ArtyCapucines handbag project with the Maison.

Even accessories join the party, with LV Blason scarves, silk squares inspired by Seo-Bo’s paintings and sleek Epi sunglassesLouis Vuitton

The result? A collection that is informed by his minimalist yet graphically impactful lines. Think black cashmere overcoats crashing into slick grey wool tracksuits and refined mocha fleece jackets, all underpinned by the iconic Epi leather in vibrant new hues. There’s also a red leather suit with flared trousers and a grey denim suit splashed with Monogram Macro flowers.

This capsule is a high-fashion adventure, and we’re along for the ride.
