He might not be to the manor born but there’s little about Vedang Raina to suggest otherwise.

Movie star looks and a physique to boot. Enough and more fans keeping up with his moves and groves. A famous (rumoured) girlfriend by his side. And a sense of style that’s truly their own. He’s got all the makings of a true-blue superstar. You know it. We know it. So do his fans of social media. He knows it too. Even if he might not be saying it. As do the many brands that are keenly signing him up. Among which is AZORTE – he's the face of their AW’25 collection, along with Khushi Kapoor.

The young lad may have only made a few steps in tinsel town but all of them have been the right ones. We sat down with him to talk about style, substance and the fine art of streetwear, among other things.

Excerpts:

Talk to us about your collaboration with AZORTE.

Collaborating with AZORTE has been really exciting. The AW’25 collection feels bold, versatile, and very now. It has this mix of punk-inspired edge and classic, timeless pieces that you can dress up or down. It’s the kind of collection that speaks to individuality, which is exactly what fashion should be about.

What's your favourite piece or look from the AW'25 collection?

There’s this leather jacket from the collection that instantly stood out to me. It’s edgy yet classic, something you can throw on with anything.

The campaign's tagline is quite powerful. Have there been moments in your life when you've had to remind yourself that you, too are in the middle of your story?

Absolutely. “You’re not mid, you’re just in the middle” really hits home. It’s easy to feel like you’re not doing enough or not where you should be, but the truth is, growth takes time. For me, as an actor, I often remind myself that every role, every experience, is part of a bigger journey; I don’t need to have it all figured out right now.

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style is effortless with a touch of edge. I love classics, but I always try to bring in one strong element - be it boots, a jacket, or an accessory. Since I started performing, I’ve become more experimental. Being an actor pushes you to explore different looks, and that’s carried into how I dress off-screen too.

What are some style must-haves that every man must have in their wardrobe?

A well-fitted pair of denims. A great jacket — leather or tailored. Classic white sneakers or boots. A crisp white shirt that works for any occasion.

Men's style trends are always evolving - what are some trends you love & the ones you just don't get?

I love how oversized fits are making a comeback; it feels relaxed yet stylish. I’m also into vintage-inspired looks. What I don’t really connect with are super-hyped logo-heavy pieces; I prefer style that feels personal over something that screams for attention.

Who are some famous men who have been your style inspiration?

I’ve always admired the effortless cool of James Dean, the timelessness of David Beckham, and Austin Butler’s modern spin on classic menswear. They all have this balance of ease and elegance.

What’s your current go-to fashion combo?

Boots and a statement jacket - that’s my signature combo. It’s versatile, comfortable, and always makes me feel put together.

What's one fashion risk you've taken that turned out to be a winner?

Experimenting with bold textures. At first, I wasn’t sure it would work, but it ended up being one of my strongest looks.

What would you be wearing when no one is watching?

An oversized hoodie, joggers, and slides. Comfort first, always.

Watches or bracelets?

Watches. They’re timeless, and I love how a good watch can elevate even the simplest look.

Black or white?

Black - always. It’s sleek, versatile, and never goes out of style.

Streetwear or designer wear?

Streetwear with a designer twist. I like mixing the two to create something that feels stylish yet effortless.

Your most cherished piece of clothing in your wardrobe, and why?

My first leather jacket. It’s been with me for years, and the more worn it gets, the better it looks. It feels like it’s carrying all my stories with it.
