Ranbir Kapoor Wants You To Dress Like Him

A sundry look at the paparazzi pages on Instagram - because he is not on social media (officially!) - will tell you that when it comes to his personal style, Ranbir Kapoor likes to keep it simple.

You’ll never see the actor in anything that’s even remotely ‘fashionable’, unless of course if it’s in a movie. No flashy labels, nothing that screams for attention. Even his red carpet looks are more demure than dramatic.

Sneakers, jeans, t-shirt and a cap, that’s pretty much his staple. Throw in some cargo pants, shirts and shorts and what you have might just be the perfect wardrobe for Kapoor. He sticks to the basics and always wants to be comfortable, and that’s what’s come to define his sense of style.

Now, he’s taken his signature style and turned into his own lifestyle brand, ARKS. With this move, Kapoor also joins a rather long list of celebrities who’ve started their own lifestyle brands in the past. It’s an interesting idea, sure, one that might resonate well with fans of the actor. After all, he is considered one of the better dressed men in the country.

There are t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, polo shirts, denim jackets... basically everything you’ve seen on Kapoor and wanted to have for yourself. There are also sneakers and caps (another signature Kapoor look) along with denims and jogger pants.

ARKS is aimed at giving you all the essentials for your wardrobe, only elevated for a modern, minimalist look. As Kapoor has himself put it, the brand is about “creating products that aren’t loud but still make a statement”.

It’s understated luxury and we’re keen to see how the brand ends up making a space for itself in the ever-evolving menswear dynamic in India.
