Akshay Kumar Definitely Loves His Palazzo Pants
Not the first time he's been seen wearing them!
It's not everyday when a Bollywood actor makes news for what they're wearing. What am I even saying?! It absolutely is. But some days are different than the others and some actors most certainly aren't like every other.
When you think of Akshay Kumar, you imagine him doing incredible action stunts, acting in rip-roaring comedies and being one of the fittest stars in our country. The actor wearing palazzo pants isn't how you'd ever imagine him to be. Naturally then, the internet went into a meltdown when he was spotted wearing chequered palazzo pants at the airport, paired with a plain back t-shirt. He paired the look with open-toe sandals and colourful sunglasses.
A relaxed, fuss-free look, if you were to ask us, but coming from Akshay, it came as quite a surprise.
Which is quite a shocker since this isn't the first time the actor was spotted in palazzo pants.
Back in 2023, while leaving for his year-end family vacation, the actor had worn the same palazzo pants in style. Back then, he had paired these pants with a zipped black overshirt and black mules.
Interestingly, both these times, the actor's look as elicited quite a lot of reactions. Some positive and some, like with all things that trend online, trolling-like.
For us, the look works quite well. Firstly, full props to the actor for repeating his look at a time when stars trying to pull of 'new' looks is the usual norm. And secondly, there's nothing more comfortable than a pair of palazzos, especially when traveling, so we're totally on board with Akshay prioritising comfort over every other fashion trend.
And lastly, what's wrong with men wearing palazzo pants? Major marks to the actor for ignoring those trolls suggesting this wasn't something he should've worn. It's 2025 and everyone is allowed to wear anything and everything they wish to. Ranveer Singh shouldn't be the only won having fun with his fashion. So should Akshay. As should you!
