Make your festive planning easy with Four Seasons Mumbai

By Team Esquire India | LAST UPDATED: DEC 26, 2025

December in Mumbai is less about snow globes and more about logistics. Where are we eating, who’s hosting, and which plan is worth leaving the house for. If you’re doing the festive circuit this year, Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai is quietly positioning itself as a one-stop answer—whether you want a civilised Christmas dinner, a rooftop night that actually feels like a night out, or a long brunch that saves you from cooking on January 1.

If you’re sorting gifts first, their Christmas hampers are refreshingly sensible. hotel’s Christmas hampers are refreshingly edited. Mistletoe is small and thoughtful—artisanal chocolates, almond rocks, mince pies—the kind of gift that lands without explanation. Rudolph goes classic with plum cake, organic honey, gourmet preserves and premium nuts. Yule Bright is for when you want to dial things up: stollen, good tea and coffee, Callebaut truffles, cranberry dark chocolate, scented candles. And North Star is the full festive spread—signature bakes, indulgent sweets, gourmet accompaniments, and a bottle of the hotel’s signature red wine.

Now, for your plans.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve splits into two very different plans, depending on how social you’re feeling. AER’s Christmas Eve Under The Stars starts at 8 pm and is exactly what you expect—in the best way. Rooftop, skyline views, festive cocktails, à la carte food, no forced structure. There’s a ₹4,000 cover charge, but let’s be honest, you’re paying for the setting as much as the night.

If you’d rather sit down and actually eat, Opus does a warmer, more traditional Christmas Eve from 7 pm to 11.30 pm. Candlelight, carving stations, familiar festive plates, and soft seasonal music. It’s comfortable, not stiff. Pricing is ₹4,000 plus taxes for food, ₹5,500 with select beverages; kids are at ₹2,000.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day is brunch-led, as it should be. Opus hosts a relaxed Christmas brunch from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm—festive food, live music, and no rush to leave. Prices stay the same as Christmas Eve.

AER, meanwhile, goes bigger with a Christmas afternoon brunch overlooking the city, complete with sparkling wines and live entertainment (₹9,000 plus taxes, food and selected beverages).

New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve is where things dial up. Opus keeps it polished and familiar from 8 pm to midnight—good food, sparkling wines, and a festive atmosphere without chaos (₹5,500 food-only; ₹7,500 with beverages; kids ₹2,750). AER goes the opposite route. A Night Written in the Stars is a proper rooftop party—international DJs, cocktails, and the city in full view. Entry is ₹15,000 plus taxes, or ₹20,000 if you want a table.

January 1 is about easing back into life. Opus does a family-style New Year’s Day brunch from 12.30 pm to 4 pm (₹3,500 food-only; ₹4,500 with beverages; kids ₹1,750). AER follows with The Year’s First Sparkle—a sunlit Bagatelle-style brunch on the rooftop that feels celebratory without being exhausting (₹7,500 plus taxes, food only).

No grand promises, no forced festive drama. Just well-run plans, good food, and the option to stay longer if the mood’s right.
