After its theatrical run, The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is approaching its digital release, with Prime Video holding the film’s post-theatrical streaming rights. However, viewers waiting to watch Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra’s Hindi fantasy thriller from home will have to wait for an official announcement confirming its streaming date.
The film’s transition to streaming is expected to bring its supernatural premise to a wider audience, particularly those who missed its theatrical screenings and prefer watching new releases from the comfort of their homes.
Some reports have suggested November 5 or November 6, 2026, as possible release dates. Neither date has been officially confirmed, so audiences should treat these reports as tentative rather than a final schedule. The film arrived in cinemas on September 25, 2026, after its original August 28 release date was postponed.
There is also speculation that The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest could initially be available on a rental basis. This would mean viewers might have to pay separately to watch the film instead of accessing it through their regular Prime Video subscription.
The final release format, rental price and availability have not been confirmed. Viewers should check the film’s official Prime Video listing before making a payment, particularly if they are waiting to watch it as part of their existing subscription.
Despite receiving mixed reviews, The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest maintained a steady theatrical run. According to Sacnilk, the film crossed Rs 70 crore in net collections in India and Rs 92 crore in worldwide gross collections after 25 days.
Drawing on Indian folklore, the film takes audiences into a mysterious forest where supernatural elements shape its fantasy-thriller setting. Adventure, mystery, suspense and humour contribute to the story, bringing together several genres rather than relying solely on horror or fantasy.
Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Arunabh Kumar, the film stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra alongside Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul and Anup Soni.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari. Manu Anand handled its cinematography and visual direction.
