Everything We Know About Mobland Season 2

For those of you who may have missed it (why though, like why?), Mobland has been renewed for a second season. Which makes complete sense because the show is absolutely incredible.

Featuring Tom Hardy in the lead as a fixer for the crime-committing, morally-corrupt Harrigan family, the show also features Pierce Brosnan and Hellen Mirren (played by the patriarch of the family and his wife, respectively) along with a bunch of other phenomenal actors, including Anson Boon and Joanna Froggatt, among others.

If you've even watched the show's trailer, you'd know that the show is that perfect mix of crime drama with dollops of British black humour, and even though the show was directed by four different directors, Guy Ritchie, Anthony Byrne, Daniel Syrkin and Lawrence Gough, everything comes together absolutely perfectly.

Hence it wasn't much of a surprise when the show got picked up for a second season, with Paramount+ confirming the news a few days before season 1's final episode aired. Especially since the show is still leading the charts across the globe and the top rated show on the streaming platform.

And now, everyone's abuzz regarding the much-awaited second season of Mobland.

While nothing much has been shared by the team behind the show as yet, what's pretty obvious is that things aren't going to get any easier for the Harrigan family, or the fixer who works for them.

Spoiler Alert: if you haven't watched Mobland's first season yet, stop reading this & go watch that right away.

At the end of the final episode, we know how Harry owes Kat big time, so it's sure she (and her gang) are certainly going to be playing a major role in the criminal activities in season 2. How Harry manages to find his way out of her hands should definitely make for an interesting watch. He, anyway, got accidentally stabbed by his wife, though I'm sure he'd make it out just fine. But will his wife continue to live with the consequences of her husband's profession or finally leave him? It all waits to be seen.

Additionally, what happens to Conrad and how he stakes both power and revenge is another plot point that's bound to be explored in the next season. The troubles obviously can't be all over for the Harrigans, and I'm confident that they'll find their paths crossing with Kat. And who can ignore Maeve. Her corrupt and conniving mind would also be up to no good (yet again), and I'm certainly curious to see how she plays her cards. Helen Mirren is absolutely incredible in this part, anyway, and I can't wait for her to be back on screen!

There's isn't any information about the second season's release date as yet. But since the entire production for season 1 was wrapped up in just about a year's time (13 months, to be precise), no one would be surprised if the second season for Mobland aires sooner than later.

Our bets are sometime next year, in the second half of 2026, and we can't wait to see what twists and turns the show takes next.
