Here are the new Friday South Indian OTT releases arriving on October 9, 2026. You can watch them on Netflix, SonyLIV, ETVWin, Prime Video, Aha Video and Simply South.
Parvathy Thiruvothu plays Aleena Abraham, a newly recruited police officer and mother caught after a fatal incident inside her station. A cover-up starts to unravel when investigator Harris Meeran connects the gaps. The film turns that pursuit into a battle of wits between Aleena and the man chasing the truth. It streams on Netflix from October 9.
Kani Kusruti stars as Tina Sebastian, a police officer investigating stalking cases involving women. As she connects the incidents, the investigation turns towards the psychology behind obsession and control. Directed by Manu Ashokan, Eyes is a psychological thriller driven as much by behaviour as evidence. It premieres on SonyLIV on October 9.
Harsha Chemudu leads this Telugu comedy drama about a young man whose family sees marriage as an urgent problem. His circumstances leave him labelled the least eligible bachelor, setting up a story about relationships, family expectations and the pressure to fit a conventional idea of adulthood. The series arrives on ETVWin on October 9.
Paris Cafe follows Oli, whose planned trip to Paris takes a personal turn after she discovers that her parents have separated. A photograph and a seven-year-old secret send her digging into the family's past, with Kavin helping her piece together the truth. The film blends family drama with suspense and arrives on October 9.
Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya headline this Telugu romantic comedy set against student life in London. Aditya, an aspiring filmmaker, meets Kadali after moving abroad for his master's degree, and a nine-month arrangement gradually becomes something harder to keep casual. Career ambitions and different ideas about the future put their relationship under pressure. It lands on Netflix on October 9.
Prithviraj Sukumaran plays Aamir Ali, a textile shop owner whose quiet life changes when his father becomes entangled in a gold-trading case. The search for answers leads Aamir towards his estranged grandfather's legacy, drawing him into a world of power, money and dangerous rivals. The action thriller is scheduled for October 9 across Prime Video and other streaming platforms.
