One mention of a beloved cartoon or a theme song hummed badly out of tune, and suddenly the heart does a little somersault. It’s that delicious moment when nostalgia wallops you in the face and you love it.

One can relate to the moment when as kids we'd have afternoons to ourselves. The elderly were off having their sacred post-lunch naps, parents were still at work, and we were left in that glorious, unsupervised slice of the day.
