Dhurandhar Trailer: It's Hard To Ignore Ranveer Singh Like Never Before
The Aditya Dhar film releases on December 5
Ranveer Singh is back – a sentence you didn’t know you’d ever have to read, right?
The exuberant, energetic and rather entertaining actor has been MIA from the screens from a while now. His last major release was back in 2023 (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani), and if you discount last year’s Singham Again, where the actor made a brief appearance, it’s been over two years since Singh graced the big screen as the lead star in a movie.
Well... he’s back. With Dhurandhar. Bearded, brawn and blazing. You saw the teaser, right? With Hanumankind’s Na De Dil Pardesi Nu providing the perfect background score.
Now, Here Comes the Dhurandhar Trailer:
Director by Aditya Dhar (the man behind Uri: The Surgical Strike), Dhurandhar is a spy thriller set in the early 2000s, featuring Singh as a spy undertaking a covert operation. As per the internet, he could be playing a character based on the life of Ashok Chakra-recipient Major Mohit Sharma, but that’s not been confirmed as yet.
Alongside the actor, the film boasts of a laundry-list of stars as well. Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi form the rest of the case and Sara Arjun makes her debut as a lead actor in the movie.

Dhar has established himself as quite the master of both spy thrillers and big-ticket action movies, and it’ll be interesting to see what he does with Singh, an actor who hasn’t done something in this space ever. Also, the fact that Singh isn’t being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali or Karan Johar, but a filmmaker he’s never previously collaborated with anyway sounds rather exciting.

Then there’s the rest of the cast. Each one looking in top form. Especially Khanna, one of Indian cinema’s most underrated actors, someone who turns up with exemplary performances without fail.
Will Dhurandhar turn out to be the big Bollywood year-ender film that everyone is wanting it to be? We’re certainly placing our bets on it!
December 5, come soon.
