A lot has been said, heard, written and discussed about the unfortunate Godhra train burning incident and the communal riots that followed after. But a new Hindi film, The Sabarmati Report, aims to present yet another point of view regarding the incident, packed as a dramatic thriller. Starring Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Riddhi Dogra in lead roles, the film has faced a fair share of delays thanks to the censor board but is aiming to make it in time to release on its scheduled date.

Paul Mescal steps into the iconic shoes of Russell Crowe in this sequel to Gladiator (2000), playing the son of his character in this movie that’s set 20 years after the events of the original. Joining him are Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielson and Denzel Washington. It’ll be quite interesting to see Mescal in the lead part, since it is quite a departure from the urban characters he’s played in his career so far. Will he prove to be a worthy successor to Crowe’s performance? We’ll find out soon enough!
