No conversations around festive season are just without the mention of objects that remind us distinctly of how fun celebrations can be. There are some objects that do more than occupy a space. They evoke a place, a season, a memory. A rain-washed earth after the monsoon. A jasmine-scented balcony at night. A garden heavy with tuberose in bloom.
What happens then when an iconic fashion print leaves the wardrobe and finds a place in the home? This festive season, SEVA Home and celebrated designer Payal Singhal are answering that question with a limited-edition collaboration that brings together fashion, interiors and luxury home fragrance in an entirely new way.
The collection transforms three of Payal Singhal’s signature prints into collectible home fragrance objects, each paired with a bespoke scent created by SEVA Home, are available as limited-edition scented candles, reed diffusers and closet freshener and specifically curated as festive gift sets designed for collectors and thoughtful gifting.
Known for her distinctive prints, contemporary Indian silhouettes and celebration of craftsmanship, Payal Singhal has steadily expanded her creative universe beyond fashion into accessories, jewellery, and lifestyle.
For SEVA Home, the collaboration represents a natural extension of its philosophy of purposeful luxury. Founded by Arushi Agrawal in 2019, the home fragrance brand has built its identity around thoughtfully crafted scents, artisanal production and social impact. Together, the two brands have created three distinct design and fragrance stories.
Indian Chintz is paired with Patchouli – After the Rain, bringing together delicate florals and earthy notes inspired by the comforting aroma of rain-soaked earth while, Abutilon is interpreted through Jasmine – A Summer Balcony at Night, evoking blooming gardens, warm evenings and the quiet atmosphere of a balcony beneath a starlit sky. Whereas, Anaar Mor meets Tuberose – A Summer Garden, a luminous floral fragrance inspired by leisurely walks through a garden in bloom.
The appeal of the collection not only lies in its ability to blur the boundaries between fragrance and décor, it is also a reflection of a conscious luxury brand. Available in 100 percent natural soy wax scented candles with lead-free cotton wicks, reed diffusers and closet fresheners, alongside curated festive gift sets, each product is designed to work as a decorative object in its own right — something that can remain on a coffee table, console or bedside table even after its fragrance has been enjoyed.
In keeping with SEVA Home’s ethos of purposeful luxury, every 10 products sold from the collection will fund a cataract surgery in rural Maharashtra through the Samta Foundation. Women from underprivileged communities are also trained and employed in the candle-making process. As a result, the SEVA Home collection marries craftsmanship beyond the finished object by connecting design, livelihood and social impact.
As SEVA Home founder Arushi Agrawal puts it, the partnership is rooted in a shared appreciation for “craftsmanship, detail and creating pieces that people truly cherish.”
For Payal Singhal, the collaboration offered an opportunity to take her visual language somewhere unexpected. Her signature prints, traditionally associated with fashion, become tactile and sensory objects for the home.
