GTA 6 Leak: Real Nudist Resort Hits Back Over Reviews; "We Will Not Pay"

Fake GTA 6 reviews, alleged payment demands, and a nudist resort refusing to budge- that's the strange situation Cypress Cove found itself in after fans linked it to a leaked location, despite one glaring detail that does not add up.

The GTA 6 euphoria, especially after the Extended Look on Netflix has soared even higher than it was thought possible. And now, it has slipped into GTA 6 reviews territory and intermingled with a real nudist resort. Well, truth to be told, GTA 6 fans have a habit of turning detective the moment leaks drop so much as a shadow of a new footage, and this time the trail led somewhere a little unexpected: a real nudist resort in Florida. Fans are convinced Cypress Cove, in Kissimmee, is the blueprint behind one of GTA 6 leaked locations, and the internet has responded the only way it knows how, by flooding its Google reviews with GTA references that have nothing to do with actual guest experiences.

GTA 6 Reviews And The Nudist Resort

The nudist resort's Google page has been soaked with posts referencing 'Jason Duval', 'Lucia', and other details straight out of GTA 6, none of which have anything to do with a real stay at Cypress Cove. The owner responded directly to one such GTA 6 review, clarifying that the recurring names and props are simply references to the game, adding, "Yes. A video game."

According to the folks at the nudist resort, this is not just fans having fun, it is actually being referred to as a coordinated string of fabricated posts, some followed by demands for payment in exchange for removing them.

The nudist resort's response was blunt: "We will not pay" and "We will not negotiate," noting that everything, including the payment requests, has been documented and reported.

GTA 6 Fans Mistook The Location, But The Excitement Stays

The nudist resort even pointed out the obvious flaw in the whole theory, noting that Cypress Cove sits in actual Florida, not Leonida, GTA 6's fictional stand-in for the state. Yes, fact vs fiction.

Most of the GTA 6 reviews have since been removed, though a few lingering ones remain, including one referencing a man who "pulled out his binoculars," and another from someone planning to visit on November 19, GTA 6's release date, to play the game "for three days straight while nude in my RV."

Whether or not Rockstar actually used Cypress Cove as inspiration, the resort didn't ask for this kind of attention.

In the meanwhile, fans have reportedly also tracked down what they believe is the real-world apartment behind Jason and Lucia's in-game home, though that spot has, so far, been spared the review chaos.
