Google's Pixel Watch 5 has leaked in full, just weeks before its official unveiling at the company's Made by Google event on August 12. High-quality renders published by well-known leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) in collaboration with The Tide Chart showcase the smartwatch in every colour and size, while separate pricing leaks suggest Google is preparing its first Pixel Watch price increase since the lineup debuted.

While the design remains largely familiar, the leaks point to a refreshed colour palette, deeper Gemini integration, new hardware under the hood, and a more premium price tag.

Google Pixel Watch 5 design looks familiar, but arrives in new colours

The Pixel Watch 5 appears to stick closely to the design language of its predecessor. The smartwatch retains its signature domed glass display, circular case, side-mounted charging contacts, and Google's proprietary band attachment system. Existing Pixel Watch 4 bands and chargers are also expected to remain compatible to the new model.

According to the leaked renders, the Pixel Watch 5 will be available in four finishes: Dark Anthracite, Natural Silver, Pyrite, and Warm Gold. Fun fact: th Pyrite variant reportedly shifts between matte green and gold depending on the lighting. Warm Gold has so far only been shown on the 41mm model paired with a coral band, and the 45mm version is expected in Dark Anthracite, Natural Silver and Pyrite.

The renders also reveal a redesigned watch face featuring an analogue clock, refreshed backgrounds and a dedicated Gemini shortcut, which means that there will be tighter AI integration across Google's wearable ecosystem.

Pixel Watch 5 specifications: Wear OS 7, bigger battery and Snapdragon chip

Although Google has yet to confirm the specifications, leaks suggest the Pixel Watch 5 will launch in both 41mm and 45mm sizes with Wi-Fi and LTE variants.

The smartwatch is expected to ship with Wear OS 7, slightly larger batteries and Qualcomm's rumoured Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset, which could improve performance, battery life and on-device AI capabilities. Certification listings have also pointed to support for LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and ultra-wideband (UWB), enabling more precise device tracking and improved connectivity with compatible Pixel devices.

Google Pixel Watch 5 price leak suggests first increase in four years

Multiple leaks indicate that Google is increasing Pixel Watch prices for the first time since launching the series. In the US, the 41mm Wi-Fi model is expected to cost $399, up from $349 for the Pixel Watch 4. The 45mm LTE version is tipped to reach $529, representing a $30 increase.

European pricing is also expected to rise. Reports suggest the 41mm Wi-Fi model will start at €419, while the LTE version could cost €519. The larger 45mm variants are tipped to start at €449 for Wi-Fi and €549 for LTE. While some reports indicate only the smaller model receives a price increase in certain European markets, the overall trend points to a more expensive Pixel Watch lineup.

Industry reports have attributed the higher prices to rising AI component costs, with Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 also expected to see similar price increases in some regions.

Google Pixel Watch 5 launch date

Google is expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 5 alongside the Pixel 11 series during its Made by Google event on August 12.

Current reports suggest pre-orders will begin on August 13, with retail sales starting on August 20, giving the smartwatch one of Google's fastest announcement-to-release timelines yet.

Until Google makes everything official, details surrounding the final processor, health features and regional availability, including a possible India launch, remain unconfirmed. However, if these leaks prove accurate, the Pixel Watch 5 is shaping up to be an evolutionary upgrade that focuses on AI features, battery improvements and performance rather than a dramatic redesign.
