David Beckham's Watch Collection Is Every Horology Enthusiast's Dream

David Beckham’s World Cup watch steals the spotlight as he and Victoria showcase matching blue-dial luxury timepieces in Atlanta, highlighting his enduring status as football’s most talked-about horology icon

David Beckham once again turned a World Cup appearance into a showcase for serious horology, wearing a blue Tudor Black Bay 54 as England crashed 3-0 to Argentina in Atlanta. Joined by Victoria, in a rose-gold Patek Philippe Aquanaut, Beckham reminded fans that his passion for watches rivals his football legacy, from platinum Patek complications to rare customised Rolex and Jacob & Co. piece

If there's one thing almost as predictable as David Beckham turning up for a major event, it's that he'll arrive wearing a watch worth talking about.

Take for example last week's World Cup semi-final against Argentina, where he sported the new Tudor Black Bay 54 with a striking blue dial and bezel, while Victoria complemented the look with a blue-dial Patek Philippe Aquanaut in rose gold. Or the Black Bay 58 he wore to the Wimbledon finals this year. David Beckham rarely misses an opportunity to make a statement with his watch.

Below, we revisit some of the most fabulous watches from Beckham's collection.

Patek Philippe Grand Complications Celestial 6102P

The most valuable watch in David Beckham's collection, the Patek Philippe Grand Complications Celestial 6102P is worth around £285,700. Encased in platinum, it features an astronomical display with a rotating chart of the Northern Hemisphere's night sky, the moon's orbit and phases, and sidereal time. Combining technical mastery with an elegant blue dial, it is among Patek Philippe's most celebrated complications. Beckham wore it at the 2016 David Beckham: The Man Phillips charity auction in London.

Custom Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller

Beckham's custom Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller stands out because Rolex never officially produced an all-black version. The standard dive watch was modified by a third party with a black PVD coating, giving it a stealthy monochrome finish while retaining its professional diving credentials, robust Oyster case and high water resistance. Beckham was seen wearing the customised piece during the 2012 NBA Playoffs.

Rolex Yacht-Master II Yellow Gold

Crafted entirely in 18-carat yellow gold, the Rolex Yacht-Master II is one of the brand's largest watches at 44mm. Designed for competitive sailing, it features a programmable regatta countdown timer powered by Rolex's in-house Calibre 4161. The bold case and blue Cerachrom bezel make it one of Beckham's flashiest Rolex models. He has been photographed wearing it on multiple public outings.

Rolex Day-Date 40

The Rolex Day-Date 40 in Everose gold pairs one of the brand's most iconic designs with a striking olive-green dial. It features Roman numeral hour markers, Rolex's signature President bracelet and a diamond-set bezel, all powered by the in-house Calibre 3255. Known as the "President's Watch", it remains one of Rolex's most prestigious models. Beckham wore it while holidaying with Victoria Beckham in 2022.

Tudor Black Bay Chrono

As a Tudor ambassador since 2017, Beckham is frequently seen wearing the Black Bay Chrono. The sports chronograph combines vintage-inspired styling with a modern Manufacture Calibre MT5813 movement offering a 70-hour power reserve. Its aluminium bezel and twin-register layout have made it one of Tudor's signature watches. Beckham has worn it during Wimbledon and Tudor's "Born to Dare" campaign.

Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G

The Black Bay Chrono S&G blends stainless steel with yellow gold accents across the bezel, crown and chronograph pushers. Powered by Tudor's MT5813 automatic movement with a 70-hour power reserve, it balances sporty performance with a dressier aesthetic. Beckham opted for the leather strap version, which adds a vintage feel to the two-tone design. He wore it while attending Wimbledon in 2019.

Tudor Black Bay 58

Beckham's Black Bay 58 features an 18-carat yellow-gold 39mm case paired with a rich green dial and matching bezel. Powered by Tudor's Manufacture Calibre MT5400, the dive watch offers a 70-hour power reserve while combining classic proportions with luxurious materials. The green-and-gold colour combination makes it particularly eye-catching. Beckham was spotted wearing it at Wimbledon in 2023.

Jacob & Co. Global 3

One of the rarer pieces in Beckham's collection, the discontinued Jacob & Co. Global 3 is designed for frequent travellers. It displays five time zones simultaneously through separate sub-dials for home time, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Paris, each controlled by its own crown. The watch combines a black case with a rose-gold bezel and quartz movement. Beckham first wore it in New York in 2011.
