Shubman Gill's Rolex Collection Is Just As Cool A Him

Shubman Gill might be the ambassador of G-Shock, but boy does this man take his Rolexes seriously. He made his first ever Formula 1 appearance at Silverstone this weekend, followed with a Nike event with Ronaldinho. But I couldn't help but admire the two daytonas he donned.

Which, of course, led me to the Shubman Gill Rolex collection rabbit hole. It's not a massive collection (this man has other watches too, come on!), but he seems to love the watchmaker quite a bit. Another thing he seems to love? Green dials and Daytonas. Check them all out below.

One of the rarest watches in Shubman Gill's collection, the 18 ct yellow gold Daytona (Ref. 126508) pairs a striking turquoise blue lacquer dial with contrasting black chronograph sub-dials. The bold colour combination has earned it the unofficial "Tiffany Dial" nickname, making it a favourite among collectors. Gill famously wears this almost every chance he gets, the most recent being a Nike campaign event he attended this week.

Nicknamed the "John Mayer" Daytona after the musician popularised it, this 18 ct yellow gold chronograph features a rich green sunray dial with gold-tone accents. Its racing heritage, tachymeter bezel and distinctive colourway have made it one of Rolex's most coveted modern Daytonas. Gill was spotted wearing it during his first visit to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Gill was seen wearing this two-tone Oystersteel and yellow gold Rolex Daytona at his cousin's wedding earlier this year. Valued at over Rs 37 lakh, the watch combines a black chronograph display with gold accents for excellent legibility while retaining the Daytona's sporty character.

Crafted in 18 ct yellow gold, the Rolex Day-Date 40 stands out with its fluted bezel, rich green lacquer dial and iconic President bracelet. A Superlative Chronometer, it is celebrated for both its precision and luxurious finishing. Retailing for over Rs 44 lakh, Gill has worn the timepiece during several milestone moments, including receiving the Cricketer of the Year award, as well as on holidays.

The Rolex Perpetual 1908 is the dressiest watch in Gill's collection, showcasing a classic 18 ct gold case, clean dial and slim profile inspired by traditional watchmaking. Unlike the sportier Daytona models, it focuses on understated elegance and refined craftsmanship. Gill has been spotted wearing the watch at high-profile formal events, pairing it with tailored evening wear.
