The Hamilton Khaki Field holds a special place for field watch lovers. Hamilton has now introduced a new Khaki Field Mechanical Special Edition, returning to the world of Call of Duty with a new collaboration inspired by Modern Warfare 4.
Created in partnership with the popular gaming franchise, the new Khaki Field Mechanical is worn by Captain John Price in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (the game releases on 23 October) and features a 38mm sandblasted black PVD case inspired by modern tactical equipment.
The dial incorporates the typography of the game’s iconic “4” while coloured accents reference a key visual code within the Modern Warfare 4 universe. Up front, the rugged grained dial texture reinforces the watch's field-ready character. Flip it around and the engraved case back features the iconic Modern Warfare soundwave, a graphic expression of the Modern Warfare aesthetic.
Paired with a khaki green textile strap, the watch reflects the functional aesthetic of contemporary military gear, while remaining rooted in Hamilton’s field watch heritage.
The design also draws inspiration from other historic Hamilton military timepieces, particularly British-issued General Service watches. This connection reflects the military background of Captain Price, one of the game’s most recognisable characters.
The timepiece has a lug width of 20mm and the 38mm case width would make for an ideal fit for most wrists. The dial also features Super LumiNova Grade X2 on the numerals and hour markers, and the hour and minutes hands. The glass on the dial is Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, while the watch has a water resistance of 5 BAR (50m).
Inside, the special edition Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm is powered by an H-50 handwinding mechanical movement with 80 hours of power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring. It is priced at $795.
Modern Warfare 4 is one of the most anticipated games of the year and overall, the 23rd instalment in the Call of Duty series, and the fourth entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series, following Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023).
