Some sneakers announce themselves with loud graphics or wild shapes. This one does it with a single color. Bad Bunny and adidas Originals are returning to the Gazelle Indoor in "Solar Gold," a honey-yellow pair meant to feel like the last warm light of a Caribbean evening. It's the newest entry in a collaboration that honors nostalgia, memory and home.

“Since first reimagining the classic adidas Originals silhouette in 2024, Bad Bunny and adidas Originals have used the franchise as a canvas to tell deeply personal stories rooted in Puerto Rico; stories about place, identity, memory, and home,” the company said.

The drop is days away, signups are already open, and the price stays friendly. Here's everything you need to know about the design, the cost, the release, and the story behind it.

The look is simple. A warm yellow suede covers the upper, and the inside is lined with leather, so it should feel as good as it looks. Underneath sits the familiar gum outsole, with the three stripes marking it as a true Gazelle. There's no gimmick, just a classic shape in a color that is hard to ignore.

The Gazelle Indoor "Solar Gold" costs $140 USD. It goes on sale globally on October 17, 2026. Buyers can get a pair through adidas.com and select retailers. Signups opened on October 13, so they are already live. If you want a pair, register now rather than waiting for release day.

The Story

The partnership began in 2024 with the "San Juan" Blue Gazelle, a tribute to Bad Bunny’s birthplace. It was also inspired by Casa Amadeo, the first Puerto Rican music shop and the oldest continuously operating Latin music store in New York City. That first pair celebrated the long cultural exchange between the island and its diaspora.

The story grew in 2025 with the Gazelle City Series, which launched during his Puerto Rican residency and highlighted three parts of the island:

El Yunque used deep green to honor the rainforest.

Santurce used vivid orange to nod to the neighborhood's place in Puerto Rican music, dance and art.

Cabo Rojo used bright pink, inspired by the region's salt flats and rare pink waters.

"Solar Gold" is the quietest chapter in that story, and probably the easiest to wear. If you've been waiting for a Bad Bunny Gazelle that works with almost anything, this is the one to register for.
