7 New OTT Movies And Shows Releasing In April 2025

All the exciting new releases this month on Nexflix, Prime Video and JioHotstar

Saurav Bhanot

While movie theatres are struggling with footfalls, OTT platforms are where all the action seems to be. Sure, the year has so far been in a mixed bag for the most part, barring Black Warrant, Paatal Lok Season 2 and Adolescence, there’s no denying that the audiences are keener on watching content on Netflix, JioHotstar and Prime Video than a cinema hall near them.

Since OTT content requires you to compete with content from across the world, the makers have to try harder and create better. Sure, they don’t always succeed, but because the audiences are spoilt for choice, the odds of a truly arresting, entertaining experience are far higher on these platforms.

The month of April 2025 too promises a bunch of exciting new releases on OTT platforms. A lot of them stars big-ticket movie stars as well. Will these movies and shows earn their places in the hearts and minds of audiences?
