This week’s Malayalam OTT lineup offers diverse entertainment with Kunjumalakha, I’m Game, ICU – Until The Last Breath, and Meesaya Murukku 2. Streaming on platforms like ManoramaMAX, JioHotstar, Sun NXT, and SonyLIV, these releases cater to fans of family drama, action thrillers, suspense, and music-led narratives, ensuring a perfect Diwali watchlist for all tastes.
A Diwali watchlist needs a little variety, especially when everyone has a different idea of what makes a good evening of entertainment. The Malayalam OTT releases this week, between November 2 and 8, 2026, bring four options to the screen: the family drama Kunjumalakha, Dulquer Salmaan's action thriller I'm Game, the suspense-driven ICU – Until The Last Breath and the music-led entertainer Meesaya Murukku 2. While the first three are Malayalam productions, the last is a Tamil film arriving with a Malayalam-dubbed version. With releases on ManoramaMAX, JioHotstar, Sun NXT and SonyLIV, here is when to watch these latest Malayalam OTT releases and what to expect.
Start here if your family likes stories that arrive in small doses. This new drama premiered on Mazhavil Manorama on November 2 and also streams on ManoramaMAX. SR Sooraj directs, with Krishna Sajith, Rajeev Parameshwar and Anupama in the cast. Rajeev’s return to the channel is the show’s biggest talking point. It airs Monday to Saturday at 7 pm, which makes it an evening habit rather than a one-night commitment.
Dulquer Salmaan’s action thriller lands on streaming roughly two months after its September 3 theatrical release, and JioHotstar will stream it in five languages: Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Nahas Hidhayath directs, and Antony Varghese, Mysskin and Kayadu Lohar are among the supporting cast. If it slipped past you in cinemas, you’re not alone. Despite the pre-release buzz, it reportedly grossed about ₹48 crore worldwide, against a reported budget of around ₹80 crore. Home viewing could be its second wind.
Want something tenser and shorter? This suspense thriller runs 1 hour 51 minutes and was released in cinemas on February 27. George Varghese directs Bibin George, Baburaj and Murali Gopy, with Vismaya, Meera Vasudev, Srikanth Murali and Navas also in the cast. Written by Santhosh Kumar, it builds its story around fear, truth and fate. It arrives on Sun NXT on November 6.
This one is a Tamil film, but it arrives on SonyLIV on November 6 with dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The story follows three generations of a family trying to take Gaana music from the streets of North Chennai to the global stage. As with the first film, Hiphop Tamizha Adhi handles the story, screenplay, dialogues, direction, music and lyrics. It is the pick for anyone who wants songs, romance and family drama in one sitting.
