Fans who missed Dulquer Salmaan's latest action thriller I'm Game on the big screen can mark their calendars. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, the movie will reportedly start streaming on OTT this week, arriving in living rooms after its theatrical release on September 3.
The OTT debut arrives roughly six weeks after the film opened in cinemas. Whether you want to revisit the action sequences or finally watch the film you skipped in theatres, here is everything you need to know about when and where to stream I'm Game online.
According to a report in Manorama and other Malayalam publications, I'm Game will start streaming on JioHotstar from October 16. Subtitle and dubbed audio options may vary at launch, so check the language settings once the film goes live.
Made with a reported budget of around ₹80 crore, Dulquer Salmaan-starrer I'm Game, directed by Nahas Hidhayath, ended its theatrical run with a worldwide gross of ₹48.27 crore.
The film is pitched as a high-energy action thriller, with Dulquer Salmaan leading the cast in a role built on intensity and screen presence. It marks his collaboration with director Nhas Hidayath, known for stylish, fast-paced storytelling, which generated plenty of curiosity among fans well before release. Dulquer has a following across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema, so a streaming release widens the film's reach to viewers across India and abroad.
It also gives theatre-goers a chance to rewatch the action sequences and catch details they missed the first time. For audiences who prefer watching films at home, the digital premiere offers another way to experience the film's action, performances and tightly paced narrative at their convenience.
An active subscription of JioHotstar is required, so subscribe beforehand to avoid delays. With the date confirmed, the wait is nearly over. Whether you are a longtime Dulquer admirer or simply enjoy a well-paced thriller, I Am Game lands on Jio Hotstar on October 16.
