GTA 6’s unlock times aren’t hitting everyone at once. The PlayStation Store’s own countdown clock suggests a rolling schedule, with New Zealand kicking things off at midnight.

A chart shared by Videotech lays out how that staggers across regions; U.S. East Coast players could be in by 6 AM on November 18, while the West Coast trails behind at 3 AM.

Over in Europe, countries like France, Germany, and Italy are looking at a 12 PM start on the same day. As per the post, folks in India can access GTA 6 on PS5 on November 18 at 11AM.

The GTA 6 PSN Workaround For PS5 Players

Unlike Xbox, where switching your console’s location settings does the trick, PS5 owners need to work a little harder. As outlined by Synth Potato, the process starts with creating a brand-new PSN account registered to New Zealand.

From there, players need to turn on console sharing and offline play through the system menus. The final piece is a New Zealand-specific gift card to pre-order the game on that new account. Play Asia has been the retailer international buyers have reportedly had luck with.

Once that is done, console sharing should let players jump into GTA 6 on their original, regular profile. Technically, PSN doesn’t allow accounts tied to a country a player doesn’t live in, but enforcement hasn’t exactly been strict so far.
