Sometimes all it takes is one banner to send an entire fanbase into overdrive. YouTube recently put up an ad with the line “There’s more to GTA VI on YouTube,” and just like that, GTA 6 trailer 3 theories were back on the table. The image itself raised eyebrows too: a reworked version of existing artwork where Lucia, notably, isn’t holding a gun anymore.
Shared by ben/videotech on X, formerly Twitter, the ad doesn’t confirm much on its own, but after the Netflix Extended Look stole the spotlight, the idea that YouTube wants its moment back doesn’t feel far-fetched.
The most hopeful theory floating around is a third trailer landing on October 8th, but the more likely explanation ties back to music. On October 4th, a Spotify leak revealed Cardi B and Fuerza Regida are both contributing two songs each to the soundtrack, and Fuerza Regida has reportedly already shot a Vice City-themed teaser clip.
Since both artists have a serious YouTube following, album-focused videos make sense as the actual payoff here. Still, not everyone’s satisfied with music news. The August 27th footage gave fans a better sense of Lucia and Jason’s dynamic, but their backstory- how two strangers became partners in crime, remains locked away, probably until launch.
Beyond the banner, recent previews have left their own trail of questions. A Game Informer piece detailed an advanced weather system and heavy wildlife presence across Leonida, hunting included, but screenshots can only do so much.
Nobody’s actually seen a hurricane play out in motion yet. With November approaching, Rockstar still hasn’t clarified whether weather will affect missions, how the heat system behaves, or just how far the police will chase Lucia and Jason once things go sideways.
