Love, romance, sex scenes, or just two people trying get by under difficult circumstances? Bonnie and Clyde dying a horrible death by dozens of bullets fired mercilessly at them? Rockstar has created a lot of hype about the GTA 6 protagonists, Jason and Lucia. However, usually, hype is a trap. With the GTA 6 game just weeks from release, Jason and Lucia have gone from promising sketches to something that barely resembles where they started. To be fair, Rockstar has revealed a lot of other details and that has taken some of the spotlight off the "couple", still, everyone expected them to be central to every little thing Rockstar revealed counting down to the launch date on November 19, 2026. However, the recent revelation about the ratings has put the spotlight squarely back on both. These indicate GTA 6 will have sex scenes. But, it has also been suggested that whether Jason and Lucia will be romantically involved or indulge in sexual activity is really in the hands of the user.
The new ratings on various console makers' websites indicate a number of things happening during the game. There will be sex scenes as well as intimate story scenes. In fact, that was also hinted in the trailers too. Whether that will involve the couple and the prostitutes too is unclear. It has been hinted earlier that sexual activity totally depends on the user whether he or she wants to encourage romance between Jason and Lucia or just keep the relationship professional.
How graphic will these GTA 6 sex scenes be? While that is not clear, it is certain there will be intercourse. However, the adult rating for GTA 6 and the resultant sex scenes, also means those under 17 or 18 will not be able to play the game.
Back in 2023, Lucia's skin read more like a filter than a face, smooth in all the wrong ways, with a ponytail that barely acknowledged gravity. Jason fared worse, reduced to a shaved head and stubble that could've belonged to anyone.

Fast forward to trailer two, and the difference isn't subtle. Lucia's hair moves like actual hair. Jason's beard grows unevenly, the way real stubble does, sweat catches the Vice City light on his skin, and veins trace his arms. The imperfections, oddly enough, are what make them look perfect.
Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson has since explained that the first trailer was never meant to be the finished product, calling it a "mission statement" for a game that wasn't yet "fully formed".

That framing tracks with everything that's followed: the recent extended look didn't reinvent the characters again, but it locked in a level of polish and customisation that trailer one never hinted at.
With the ESRB rating landing this morning and ads already popping up in Miami and New York, GTA 6 arrives November 19, carrying two characters who have clearly earned their final form. But with so much at stake, will Rockstar spice up GTA 6 sex scenes by taking the Jason and Lucia relationship to the next level? Keep tuned in for more.
