iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max demand is huge. So much so that barely days after pre-orders went live, the new Pro lineup has hit its first delay snag. Early birds who ordered the moment pre-orders opened are still on track for September 18, but anyone buying now is looking at a very different delivery calendar. Yes, they will have a massive waiting period to get the iPhone in their hands. The Apple online stores in India and the US have quietly pushed delivery estimates well into October, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max buyers are the worst off.
If you were hoping to unbox your new Pro model soon, it might be worth checking a physical store before you commit to a longer wait online.
On Apple's India store, the iPhone 18 Pro is now showing a delivery window of September 29 to October 6, across every colour and storage option.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max fares worse, with buyers looking at October 6 to October 11. The US is not spared either. The Pro is estimated between September 29 and October 6, while the Pro Max stretches from October 6 all the way to October 13, nearly a month after phones officially go on sale.

The Pro Max costs Rs 15,000 more than the standard Pro, so it's worth weighing whether the bigger screen justifies both the extra spend and the extra wait.
