Trendspotting At The Men's Fashion Week Spring-Summer '27

From bold tailoring to futuristic streetwear, designers redefine menswear for the Spring-Summer ’27 season

Menswear this year had a season that refused to be boxed, and this time, everyone was watching. In one room, Simone Rocha sent out broderie anglaise and ballet flats built for a man unafraid of softness. In another, Demna's body-conscious tailoring made a case for skin-tight as the new uniform. Sarah Burton finally showed her hand at Givenchy, Dior loosened the suit until it barely qualified as one, and belts did the job ties used to do. The throughline: formality is negotiable, romance is back on the table, and nobody agreed on what "dressed up" means anymore. Here's everything that defined Men's Fashion Week this season.

Amsterdam based researcher behind the fashion data analytics page Style Analytics, Molly Rooyakkers, reported that searches for Men's Fashion Week grew 382% since the same time last year (for reference, the Men's Spring Summer '26 shows were held from June 12-29 in 2025). Simone Rocha made her much-awaited debut in menswear, and so did Sarah Burton at Givenchy.

Simone Rocha’s debut show was a study in Romantic, softboy aesthetics. Think lacework, broderie anglaise, ballet flats, button shaped flowers and of course, florals. A more modern take on English embroidery made an appearance at Dolce and Gabbana too, so did pastels. Speaking of pastels, light, sorbet hues featured everywhere from Auralee and Willy Chavarria to Dries Van Noten

This is also the world that is increasingly shifting towards the hypermasculine. And amidst the great protein plague and the Ozempic takeover, skinny, slimfit silhouettes (the kind we saw in Demna’s inaugural show) seems like it’s here to stay. It’s the era of the skinny jeans at Acne Studios and Celine. Prada meanwhile, shoes slim fit pants so brightly hued that you can spot them from miles away.

Spare the formality

Bosy suits aren’t really a thing, it seems, especially with heatwaves terrorising the world. Instead, we got the draped suits, an exaggerated Armani-esque silhouette that Soshiotsuke is known for, and expanded into a more carefree attitude in Dior.
