Nike Caitlin 1 Signature Collection: Every Sneaker and Colourway You Need to Know

Caitlin Clark is widely regarded as one of the greatest collegiate basketball players of all time. Now playing for the Indiana Fever in the Women’s National Basketball Association, Clark has quickly become one of the biggest names in basketball. So, when it was announced that she would collaborate with one of the world’s leading sportswear companies, Nike, to create her own signature basketball shoe collection, anticipation among sneaker enthusiasts and basketball fans was inevitable. 

Nike says the signature shoe has been designed around the qualities that define Clark’s style of play, including her speed, shooting range and ability to create unpredictable plays on the court. 

Earlier this year, Nike unveiled the first official look at the shoe. As we get closer to the October 1 launch date, Nike has now officially shared images and details of the first six colourways. Below is everything athletes, sneaker enthusiasts and Caitlin Clark fans need to know.

Launching globally on October 1 at the official Nike site and through other selected global retailers, the Nike Caitlin 1 features a range of performance technologies designed for the demands of the modern basketball player. 

The shoe combines a Nike Opticast upper with a responsive forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit and Cushlon foam. It also incorporates several personal design elements connected to Clark.Nike has given the shoe a distinctive identity through details such as stacked Swooshes, Clark’s initials and number, along with a patterned upper featuring references to the letters C and 2. 

Warning Code 

Its strong yellow-based palette gives the shoe an instantly noticeable appearance, making it particularly suited to players who want their footwear to stand out on the court.

Caitlin Blue 

Built around shades of blue, the design has a fresh appearance that works naturally with the basketball aesthetic of the Caitlin 1.

Midnight Fever 

The Midnight Fever colourway combines a dark base with vibrant accents, creating a look that feels both dramatic and energetic.

Purple Venom 

Its inspiration is connected to Clark’s college career and the identity associated with her alma mater. 

Ice Cold 

The Ice Cold colourway takes a completely different visual direction, using cooler tones to create a crisp and clean finish.

Cave Stone 

The Cave Stone colourway rounds out the collection with a much more neutral aesthetic. Its earthy tones give the shoe a softer appearance than some of the brighter versions in the lineup.
