Roadies Rebirth: Release Date, When And Where To Watch, Gang Leaders, Format And More

Few Indian reality shows have managed to stay as culturally relevant as MTV Roadies. What began as an adventure-based youth reality show has evolved through changing hosts, contestants, tasks and gang leaders, but its appetite for competition and drama has remained. Now, Roadies Rebirth is bringing the franchise back with a format that puts a fresh spin on the familiar gang system. 

The upcoming season will see Rannvijay Singha return as host, marking another chapter in his long association with the franchise. Alongside the physical tasks, challenges and adventure that viewers have come to expect, the season will introduce a new structure that changes how the Gang Leaders compete.

Roadies Rebirth Format 

This season is built around an OGs vs NewGs concept. Instead of having six separate gangs, all six Gang Leaders will be divided between two larger teams. Each team will have three leaders working together, giving the competition a different dynamic from previous seasons. 

Contestants will still have to navigate a combination of games, physical challenges, adventure tasks and eliminations as they compete within the new team structure.

Who Are The Gang Leaders In Roadies Rebirth? 

The OG team features three familiar names from the Roadies universe: Nikhil Chinapa, Neha Dhupia and Prince Narula. 

Going up against them is the NewG team, made up of Abhishek Malhan, Bani J and Baseer Ali. This makes six Gang Leaders in total, although they will compete as two three-person camps rather than six independent gangs. 

The OG versus NewG setup is expected to put the experience of the returning Roadies names directly against a newer generation of Gang Leaders, while also changing the alliances and strategies within the competition. 

Roadies Rebirth Release Date And Where To Watch 

Roadies Rebirth will premiere on October 16, 2026. New episodes will be released every Friday and Saturday at 7 pm. 

The season will have a wider digital rollout than previous editions. Viewers will be able to watch it on Netflix and JioHotstar, while the show will also continue to have a television telecast on MTV. This marks the first time a season of Roadies will be available simultaneously across both OTT platforms. 

With Rannvijay back as host and six Gang Leaders split between two competing camps, Roadies Rebirth is set to give the long-running franchise a noticeably different structure when it arrives this October.
