New OTT Releases This Weekend: 10 New Movies And Shows To Watch On Netflix, Prime Video And More

Another weekend, another reason to let the watchlist take over your plans. This week's OTT releases bring together everything from Yash's gangster drama Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups and a Tamil romance in Habeebi to a courtroom thriller, a family comedy and a supernatural mystery. There is also the return of Rise & Fall, while Netflix adds new crime and mystery titles including Unabomber and The Final Problem.

Set in post-Independence Goa, Toxic follows Raya (Yash), a powerful gangster whose ambitions bring him into conflict with rival criminal networks and the people closest to him. At the height of his power, Raya grapples to control his criminal empire along with his sister Ganga (Nayanthara), but it all slips through his fingers.

Abhu (Kousick Dev), who comes from a family of handloom weavers in southern Tamil Nadu, falls in love with Nila (Isha). Their relationship runs into trouble because of communal tensions, eventually forcing Abhu to leave the country for work. He returns hoping to marry, but the wedding never takes place. Abhu eventually leaves India again, only to encounter Nila later, by which point she has married someone else, leaving their romance as a story of love undone by circumstance.

Meenu Rawat (Aneet Padda), a 17-year-old student, accuses the influential godman Baap Ji (Raghubir Yadav) of sexual assault. Her family takes the allegation to the police, setting off an investigation that quickly attracts public attention and puts Meenu under enormous social pressure.

Don't Be Shy! is about 20-year-old Shyamili “Shy” Das (Aarushi Bajaj), who begins the story convinced that she has her future neatly planned. Her carefully organised life starts falling apart as she encounters romance, friendship, heartbreak and situations she had never anticipated.

Virender Sehwag as host and places 15 contestants inside a social experiment divided between Rulers and Workers. Contestants including Swara Bhasker, Karan Patel, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shehzad Poonawalla and Gautam Gulati compete within a hierarchy where Rulers live in the Penthouse and control resources, while Workers remain in the Basement with fewer privileges.

The Kataria family returns to Kataria Kutir, where Sanjay, Alka and their children once again find themselves living under one roof. This season revolves around the future of the family's ancestral home, with property disputes and financial problems adding pressure to already complicated family relationships.

Unabomber dramatises Ted Kaczynski (Jacob Tremblay) across two periods of his life, beginning with his years as a gifted Harvard student and later tracing the FBI investigation that identifies him as the man behind a deadly mail-bombing campaign.

Prashanth “Pachcha” (Sanchith Sanjeev), a young man running a CD rental shop in Mysuru while living with his mother, younger brother and girlfriend. His life changes after his father's death, when Pachcha discovers that he had another family, including another son, Nagappa.

In 1959, 13 people are stranded on a small island near Mallorca after a violent storm cuts them off from the outside world. When British tourist Elisa Mander (María Valverde) is found dead at the hotel, what initially looks like suicide begins to resemble murder. Retired actor Basil (José Coronado), once famous for playing Sherlock Holmes, takes up the investigation alongside aspiring thriller writer Foxá (Martiño Rivas).

Mahadevi (Kamakshi Bhaskarla), a spiritually gifted woman who begins investigating a series of deaths in her family after her cousin Mahima dies by suicide. Her search leads her towards a forbidden forest cave containing a powerful supernatural entity.
