If your weekend leans towards South Indian storytelling, Friday has plenty to offer. Six new South Indian titles land on OTT this Friday, October 30, 2026, across Netflix, SonyLIV, ZEE5 and JioHotstar. Sundeep Kishan’s action drama Sigma, which marks Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut, and the 1980s gold-smuggling series Akka, with Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte, lead the Netflix offering. GV Prakash Kumar’s romantic horror Immortal brings a supernatural chill to SonyLIV, and Naresh Agastya headlines the Telugu investigative series Rudravanam PS on ZEE5. JioHotstar rounds things off with the Tamil romantic fantasy Love Always, starring Gouri G Kishan. These are the 6 new Friday South Indian OTT releases to plan your weekend around.
Sundeep Kishan leads this Tamil action drama, and the real intrigue sits behind the camera: Jason Sanjay, son of actor Vijay, makes his directorial debut here. Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj and Shiv Panditt fill out the cast, Thaman scores it and Lyca Productions backs it. Telugu and Hindi language tracks mean the film travels well beyond its home market.
Set in the fictional town of Pernuru in the 1980s, this period crime series follows a gold-smuggling network led by women. Keerthy Suresh plays Bhavani, the syndicate’s formidable ruler, while Radhika Apte is Rudra, a rebel intent on unseating her. As their rivalry hardens, the sisterhood that once protected the group now risks fraying. Dharmaraj Shetty writes and directs.
Magi, a young printing press worker desperate for affordable housing, is offered a room in a luxurious apartment at suspiciously low rent by a mysterious woman named Sindhu. Closeness brings unsettling incidents and a supernatural secret she cannot hide for long. GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar lead this Tamil romantic horror, directed by Mariyappan Chinna, with Sindhu’s real affection for Magi complicating his fight to survive.
Telugu viewers get a grim investigative series. Naresh Agastya plays Sub-Inspector Sivakumar, who is probing a village gold robbery when the search for a missing person ends with a headless body in the woods. Local power plays and buried secrets cloud every lead, leaving him to piece the truth together.
Imagine a couple close to parting ways, suddenly face to face with who they used to be. Gouri G Kishan, Ramzan Muhammed, Jayaprakash, Jayasudha and Maya Krishnan star in this Tamil romantic fantasy, adapted from the Korean webtoon Here We Go Again.
Closing on a lighter note, this Malayalam comedy drama follows Avarachan, whose recklessness keeps landing his sons Jaison and Jaimon in trouble. A scandal pushes him out of coastal Chellanam and into the North Kerala home of his elder sister Eliyamma. Biju Menon, Sreenath Bhasi, Ganapathi, Grace Antony, Akhila Bhargavan and Vinay Forrt make up the cast.
