2026 is the year we're finally having great romantic plots on our screens. Be it Off Campus, People We Meet on Vacation or even Wuthering Heights, it's been a year where filmmakers went all out on gushing about love. The latest entry in this list is Prime Video's The Love Hypothesis, a fake-dating flick that adapts Ali Hazelwood's book of the same name for the screen. Oh wait, binged it already? Here's what you could watch next.

Kat Ellis (Debra Messing) prepares to attend her younger sister's wedding, where she knows she'll face her former fiancé and the humiliation of being single. To avoid embarrassment, she hires professional escort Nick Mercer (Dermot Mulroney) to pose as her boyfriend. Their fake relationship is supposed to be purely transactional, but spending time together makes it increasingly difficult for Kat to separate the performance from her actual feelings.

Corey Mylchreest and Oxford make for a great academia romance, and My Oxford Year is proof. Anna De La Vega (Sofia Carson) has a year to travel to Oxford to study Literature before she joins her prestigious Goldman Sachs job. That's where she falls for her her professor, Jamie Davenport (Mylchreest). Their relationship (and Jamie's secret) makes Anna reconsider what she wants from her life and her future.

This is not as much fake dating as this is a fake marriage. Sanjay (Vicky Kaushal) and Karina (Angira Dhar) are desperate to buy a home in Mumbai (you know how impossible that is). In the middle of this, the two come across a housing scheme favours married couples. Thier solution: Let's get married to get teh house, even if we don't know each other.

Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong) agrees to attend a blind date in place of her friend Young-seo (Seol In-ah), with the intention of deliberately scaring the man away (cure, the iconic Samanth and Rachel scene). The plan falls apart when Ha-ri discovers that her date is Kang Tae-moo (Ahn Hyo-seop), the CEO of her company. Even worse, Tae-moo wants to marry her after the date, while Ha-ri has to hide her real identity from her boss.

Back in the 90s and 2000s when teen romcoms used to be peak, 10 Things I Hate About You made Patrick Verona the biggest of the big romcom characters. Inspired by Shakespeare's The Taming Of The Shrew, it follows Bianca (Larisa Oleynik), who's in love with Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), but her strict father has a comdition: Bianca can't date until her strict sister Kat (Julia Stiles) does. So Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) recruits the rebellious Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger) to date Kat. Problem is, the schemed romance between Kat and Patrick threatens to turn into a real one.

Jay (Imran Khan) is an assistant film director who has absolutely no patience for the grand romantic clichés he encounters while making Bollywood movies. Meanwhile his boss, Simran (Sonam Kapoor), is a hopeless romantic. Of course, they clash in the beginning because of their views, but as they spend more time together, Jay starts developing feelings for Simran.
