Fred Again's India debut has been the story of the season. The producer plays Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bengaluru in December, his first live dates since Italy last year, moving between his Actual Life albums and the sprawling USB project. No two sets are quite alike. Tracks are reworked live, and surprise after-hours shows have become a tradition that fans eagerly look forward to. Fans have taken to Reddit after past tour stops trying to figure out where the afters are happening before they can call it a night.

But that's December. Here's everything you might want to mark down first:

Khazana, A Festival of Ghazals

July 24-25, Trident Hotel, Nariman Point, Mumbai

The Cancer Patients Aid Association and the Parents Association Thalassemic Unit Trust run this fundraiser across two evenings, and it turns 25 this year. Late Padma Bhushan Pankaj Udhas revived the format in the late 1980s, and the concerts have been a fixture at the Trident ever since. This edition is dedicated to Asha Bhosle, to the ghazal singers who've shaped the genre over the decades, and to Udhas's own legacy. Talat Aziz and Rekha Bhardwaj are confirmed to perform, with Anup Jalota also on the bill. Vishal Bhardwaj and actor Anup Soni appeared alongside them at the festival's press conference. Proceeds go toward cancer patients and thalassemic children. Tickets and details through the venue.

The Yellow Diary Experience with Anand Bhaskar Collective

July 26, Grand Theatre, NMACC, Mumbai

Two of India's more distinctive indie acts share one bill. The Yellow Diary reworks its emotionally-loaded indie rock with a live string quartet and a choir behind it, and Anand Bhaskar Collective opens with its own blend of Hindi rock. Both draw crowds that overlap just enough to make the pairing work as a discovery night for each other's fans. Tickets via BookMyShow.

Plini

July 29-August 2, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru

The Australian guitarist returns on his Unnameable Desire World Tour, touring ahead of a new album. Expect the usual mix of progressive rock, jazz fusion and ambient textures that's built him a loyal following here. A refundable INR 500 cover applies at the gates in Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai. Tickets via SkillBox.

Marcin—Art of Guitar Tour

August 7-12, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Shillong

The Polish fingerstyle guitarist's first India tour, no loops, no backing tracks, just him and the instrument. India is reportedly his fourth-largest market worldwide despite never having played here. Tickets via District.

Symphony Orchestra of India, Autumn Season

August 16-30, Mumbai (NCPA)

Marking 20 years of the SOI, the season runs four concerts under chief conductor Martyn Brabbins and conductor Alessandro Bonato, continuing the orchestra's Beethoven cycle alongside Mozart, Strauss, Wagner, Shostakovich, Elgar and Rossini programs. A separate violin and piano recital features Francesca Dego and Francesca Leonardi. Tickets and season discounts via the NCPA box office.

Concerts

Guns N' Roses

November 14 and 17, Bengaluru and Guwahati

For anyone who missed them in 2025, the band returns with the same marathon setlist and towering solos that have kept them a draw for close to four decades now. The Guwahati date marks their first-ever performance in Northeast India. Tickets via BookMyShow.

Anyma presents AEDEN

November 21, Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai

Matteo Milleri's audio-visual project makes its India debut with AEDEN, the show that first premiered at his Coachella headline set. Anyma also became the first electronic artist to hold a residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, and this one leans on the same scale of visual production. Tickets via BookMyShow.

Indian Ocean

November 28, Phoenix Marketcity, Bengaluru

One of India's longest-running fusion rock acts, still touring the catalogue that helped define the genre here decades ago. Tickets available closer to the date.

Sunburn Arena ft The Chainsmokers

December 20, Bengaluru

The Bengaluru stop caps a three-city run that also hits Mumbai and Delhi, marking ten years since "Closer" and the duo's fifth tour through India. Venue still to be announced. Tickets via BookMyShow.

Gorillaz, The Mountain India Tour

January 23 and 27, 2027, Bengaluru and Mumbai

The virtual band's first-ever India shows, 25 years into their run, following an album that was largely recorded here and features Asha Bhosle, Anoushka Shankar and the sarod duo Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash among its collaborators. Tickets via the District app.

Foo Fighters

January 29 and 31, 2027, Bengaluru and Mumbai

The band's long-awaited India debut, thirty one years in. Dave Grohl and the rest of the lineup play Bengaluru LIVE and Mahalaxmi Race Course, joined across both dates by The Pretty Reckless, plus a rotating cast of support acts including Die Spitz, Pinkshift and, in Mumbai, Goa's Still In Therapy. Grohl has called it a night the crowd should show up loud for. Tickets went live on BookMyShow in June.
