GTA 6 fans are convinced there is a secret hiding in plain sight. Manni L. Perez, long whispered to be the voice and face behind Lucia in GTA 6, just went viral and not because of what she said about the game or Lucia, for that matter. So when Perez hopped on Instagram Live for twelve minutes of small talk about trucks and tiny kitchens, the internet showed up anyway and watched her sidestep every single 'Lucia' mention with the precision of someone who has clearly done this before.
Perez’s account is barely six months old, just nine posts deep, yet the stream still pulled over 2,100 viewers.
She talked about growing up in a “small, rural, redneck-y” town, living solo in a studio apartment with her dog, and loving to cook. “I’m not rich. I’m a regular person,” she said, brushing off assumptions about her finances.
Comments flooded in anyway, some asking if she’s “ready for next month,” others pointing out she technically has company, Jason. Perez smiled, said she wants a green truck, and moved right past it.
None of this is official, and an NDA would keep it that way even if the rumours were true. But the theory isn’t baseless. Perez has acting credits on Jessica Jones, The Blacklist, and Law & Order: SVU, and once played a blackjack dealer in GTA Online.
As for Jason, fans point to Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy actor Dylan Rourke, though he hasn’t confirmed anything either. The one name Rockstar has locked in is Stephen Root, playing drug trafficker Brian Heder.
With GTA 6 landing November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the guessing game has months of theorising behind it already, including fans who’ve tracked planetary positions and oxygen levels just to predict trailer drops.
Wrong both times, for what it’s worth. Until Rockstar says otherwise, the cast list stays fan fiction with really strong evidence.
