Just when you thought the GTA 6 wait couldn't get any more exciting, someone decided to throw a few more screenshots our way. Ahead of its upcoming cover story, a magazine has dropped new GTA 6 screenshots on Instagram, along with fresh details about Jason and Lucia. It comes right after Game Informer's cover story gave us a similar glimpse. The LOVE Magazine Issue 27 lands on October 5 and features an interview with Rockstar execs about the story behind the Luicia Caminos and Jason Duval, including what goes into building a classic Bonnie-and-Clyde tale.
Lucia wants a better life and she will not let anyone stand in her way. Jason, does not have a game plan, but circumstances drive him into taking decisions that keep affecting his life - for better or worse.
Rockstar writer Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern describes both of them as tough, but also vulnerable and flawed. Sometimes they make the right call, sometimes they don't.
Writer Alexa D'Agostino adds: "When you are focusing on writing a fully realised person with their own wants, you're going to get something perfectly imperfect...."
On Reddit, though, the new GTA 6 screenshots are grabbing more attention than the story details. The diner scene especially has fans drawing comparisons to Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. Jason and Lucia even bear a noticeable resemblance to Pumpkin and Honey Bunny, the diner-robbing couple played by Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer. As Soft-Bad-7127 said, "Getting pulp fiction vibes. Is that the same diner as the leaks and shown for a moment in the extended trailer?"
Jason's outfit adds fuel to the fire. His short-sleeved shirt over a black T-shirt is strikingly similar to what Tim Roth wears as Pumpkin in the film's diner scene as they try an rob John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson. And with guns in Jason and Lucia's hands, the parallel gets even more intriguing. "Looks like Lucia and Jason are paying for their meal with bullets," jokes u/PowerfulBreath9241.
