Just when you thought the GTA 6 leak drama had run its course, the internet said 'hold my beer' and produced a plot twist nobody ordered. A second, apparently unrelated group has now stepped into the ring, claiming its own slice of internal GTA 6 Rockstar material, and this time, the story allegedly starts with a phished employee in India. Rockstar already had one leak too many and now it is juggling two at once with the November 19 2026 launch day coming up fast. And things may have got worse. Cyberleak, the original leaker, has leaked two new GTA 6 gameplay videos just hours ago on August 23 2026, indicating it has a much larger trove of content than what was initially surmised.
This new group, seemingly separate from original leaker CyberLeek, says it possesses internal Rockstar files, and it's not shy about showing receipts. It is alleged online this happened after an Indian employee fell into a phishing trap.
A screenshot from an unpublished GTA 6 build dated April 2026, along with footage that appears to show development files have been produced as proof. One post goes a step further, claiming the group also has access to an Xbox development kit.
However, while social media is abuzz about the Indian connection of this GTA 6 leak, there is no official word about it.
Intevitably, Reddit is on fire over the alleged second leak and this thread digging into the situation claims the breach traces back to a Rockstar India employee who got phished. However, there is no actual proof about the allegation so far.
Also, the hardware story does not fully add up yet. While the group is being linked to an Xbox devkit, a separate report citing developers and industry insiders suggests leaked material is not running on Xbox hardware, but on a PC. Murky, and getting murkier.
Rockstar owner Take-Two has issued subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord to reveal the sources of these leaks.
For now, this second GTA 6 leak looks noticeably smaller in scale. While that may be of some relief to Rockstar, it is still a breach and that means its attempts to stop leaks has not fully succeeded. With billions of dollars worth of sales at stake, that would be a big concern for Rockstar, which has already suffered from years of delay.
Beyond the April build screenshot and some development material, the group reportedly also exposed private information belonging to Rockstar employees. CyberLeek's original dump, by comparison, was the bigger storm: gameplay footage, an alleged map, the works.
While many of these GTA 6 leak-linked material eventually vanished from major platforms after copyright takedowns, there are copies still floating around online.
If this second GTA 6 leak turns out to be legit, Rockstar may not be dealing with just two headaches, there may be multiple other GTA 6 leaks on the way as launch day on November 19 2026 gets near.
