Inspired by the shared spirit of exploration between Seiko and the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC), this special edition joins Seiko’s flagship Marinemaster series. The limited edition model features a textured dial inspired by the trail created by icebreakers advancing through Arctic sea ice, symbolising the pursuit of discovery and scientific progress. Powered by Seiko’s high-precision Caliber 8L45 mechanical movement, the watch offers a 72-hour power reserve and operates within a tolerance of +10 to -5 seconds per day.
The Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional returned earlier this year with five new references. The models span a range of deep blue, bright orange and stormy grey, which evoke different moods of the sea. Each offers its own interpretation of the collection’s aquatic character. For enhanced versatility, every model features Tissot’s interchangeable strap system. This allows the wearer to switch between the robust stainless-steel bracelet and the tropic-style rubber strap, designed for comfort, durability, and full immersion in the elements. The case is at 44MM and the watch is powered by the Powermatic 80 automatic movement, which assures 80 hours of power reserve.
A result of Hodinkee’s very first collaboration with Swiss dive watch manufacturer DOXA, the DOXA SUB Army 200T For Hodinkee Limited Edition is a thoughtful, enthusiast-driven reimagining of one of the most sought-after references in military watch collecting. Coming in at 39mm, the watch is crafted from robust 316L stainless steel and sits nicely on the wrist. The raw metal finish is a dream to look at. Beneath the dial beats a Swiss mechanical self-winding calibre decorated by DOXA, with a 38-hour power reserve. This timepiece is limited to 250 pieces worldwide
When it comes to diver watches, you don’t need to look beyond Panerai. The Luminor Marina PAM01707 features a 44mm case in Carbotech, a material known for its lightness, resistance and distinctive appearance. The black matte sandwich dial features Arabic numerals and hour markers coated with warm beige Super-LumiNova that glow green in the dark, alongside a small seconds display at 9 o’clock. The date function has been omitted, resulting in a purer and cleaner dial layout that echoes timepieces from the brand’s early naval commissions. Don’t worry about the leather strap. The watch comes with a second black rubber strap, allowing it to shift from a vintage look to a sportier configuration suited to marine environments and active use. Inside it is the P.9010 automatic calibre, composed of 200 components and equipped with 31 jewels, two barrels and a three-day power reserve.
The new compact Citizen Promaster Dive comes in a 40.6mm dial, with straps made from sustainable biomass material. Powered by the Eco Drive Caliber E118, the watches can run on form of light source and come with a remarkable power reserve of one year. The case sits at a thickness of 11.7mm, which makes these new Promaster Dive watches more compact than conventional diver's watches.
