That’s Well Timed

BANGALORE WATCH COMPANY’S first-ever pocket watch, the Forty Seven, takes the primordial, small portable timepiece experience and gives it a clean Indian touch. Built in a 46mm 316L surgical steel case with a rose gold PVD finish, the watch features an offwhite linen-pattern dial inspired by the self-reliance movement of India during the mid-20th century. Inside, the watch is powered by a Swiss-made Ronda 6004.D quartz movement with a battery life of approximately 40 months. The dial is protected by a K1 hardened crystal, while the watch offers 30 metres water resistance. Be it the subtle patterns on the dial or the cathedral style hands, that old-money vibe is hard to miss.

Drop Kicks

THE INDIAN SNEAKER CULTURE KEEPS RISING AND HOW. THE NEW SUPERSTAR Consortium – Made in India sneakers, unveiled by Limited Edt and adidas Originals, take inspiration from various symbols and craft traditions. Be it a peacock motif, intricate vine patterns from traditional textiles, festive embroidery or the detailing from centuries-old havelis. The Superstar's signature shell toe remains the same, complemented by gold lace locks, jewellery-inspired aglets and gold foil branding. Created as part of adidas Originals’ coveted Consortium programme, the release is among the first to spotlight Indian design on one of the brand’s most sought-after collaboration platforms. These are limited to just 350 individually numbered pairs worldwide.

Flip For Analog

ANALOG PHONES START TO FEEL MUCH LIVELIER WHEN THE form-factor changes. That’s the case with Light Phone’s latest. The Light Flip takes all the interesting quirks from a flip phone and blends them with all the good things from the original Light Phone, including the custom-made LightOS, durable hardware and a bevy of apps needed for basic survival. It also has a headphone jack (they still exist, yes), USB-C, Bluetooth, WiFi and 5G connectivity. The message is clear. No AI. Just tactile, analog feels.
